Maintenance Massage @ Home

  • Reduce Stress
  • Remove Muscle Tension
  • Prevent Injury

Maintenance Massage is a unique deep tissue treatment for the whole body. It incorporates both dynamic myofascial release and postural release therapy.

Sean has used his physiotherapy expertise to design a routine which prevents injury by targeting the most important postural muscles in the body.

Does this treatment cover my whole body?

Unless you request otherwise, this treatment covers the following areas:

  • Neck
  • Shoulders
  • Upper Arms
  • Forearms
  • Hands
  • Upper Back
  • Lower Back
  • Buttocks
  • Thighs
  • Forelegs
  • Feet

How is this treatment personalised to me?

If you suffer with a recurrent injury, Sean will allocate more attention to muscles that are likely causing your injury to reoccur.

If you seek a more therapeutic massage experience, massage strokes will be firmer, deeper and of higher strength.

If you seek a more relaxing massage experience, massage strokes will be slower, longer and of moderate strength.

What massage agent is used?

Sean uses a specialised massage wax from a company called Songbird. The primary ingredient in this agent is beeswax. Being an organic product, it is naturally absorbed by the skin, leaving you feeling both moisturised and relaxed.

Who is suitable for this type of treatment?

Anyone aged 12+ is suitable for this treatment as it is individually tailored to your age, hobbies, sports and injury history.

Sean has administered this massage on young athletes and exam students as well as middle aged and elderly persons.

What is the length of this treatment?

Typically 45 minutes, but it can be extended if you desire.

What is the cost of this treatment?

€80

How can I pay?

Sean takes payment by cash, credit/debit card or cheque.

Can I claim this back on my Health Insurance or Income Tax?

Yes you can. After your treatment, Sean will send you a physiotherapy receipt by email.

You can use this receipt to claim the expense back as a physiotherapy treatment from your health insurance. You can also put it down as a medical expense in relation to your income tax.

What do I need to provide for this home appointment?

You need to provide a small, open space in which Sean can set up his physiotherapy bed.

Sean carries out these appointments in apartments as well as houses, so the amount of space required is small.

You do not need to supply anything else, Sean will bring all of the necessary equipment.
